Flight Arrivals at Manila Airport

Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport, also called NAIA has 4 separate passenger terminals simply called Terminals 1-4.

Each terminal functions more or less as a separate airport although there is an inter-airport shuttle bus service for transportation between terminals when needed on both airside and landside.

Below is a list of different amenities and facilities found in the different terminals.

ATMs, Banks, & Currency Exchange

ATMs are available throughout each of the terminals on both landside and airside in both departures and arrivals areas.

WiFi

MNL offers free WiFi to all guests at Manila International Airport in 30 minute sessions. Once a session ends you can simply reconnect as there is no limit to the number of re-connections you may do.

Medical Facilities

All terminals have medical facilities available 24/7. The easiest way to find them is to simply approach any of the helpful MIAA personnel (Manila International Airport Authority) for assistance.

Smoking Areas

Manila Airport has several smoking areas located as listed below:

  • Terminal 1 – closest to the transit lounge in the Arrival’s area
  • Terminal 2 – The Tinderbox on Departures level
  • Terminal 3 – In multiple locations on the third level
  • Terminal 4 – Smoking is only allowed outside, in the dedicated smoking area

Post office and post box

Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 both have post offices for the passengers’ convenience. Service hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00.

The locations are as listed below:

  • Terminal 1 – In the Arrival lobby in the West Wing
  • Terminal 2 – In the Arrival lobby in the South Wing

Terminal 2 also has a post box next to the post office with pick-up schedule Monday-Friday at 10.30am.

Prayer rooms

Our Lady of the Airways Parish Church is located within the airport complex 500 m from Terminal 1 with Masses scheduled as follows:

Monday: 06.00
Tuesday to Friday: 06.00 and 18.00
Saturday: 06.00 and 18.30
Sunday: 06.00, 08.00, 10.00, 17.00 and 18.30

Terminals 1-3 also have in-terminal Christian/Catholic and Muslim prayer rooms, although not all are available for arriving passengers.

  • Terminal 1 – Chapel – Level 4 West Wing. Scheduled Masses: Monday-Friday 12.00 (noon), Saturday 17.30 and Sunday 9.30 and 17.30. Confessions can be made before or after mass or at any other time by request.
  • Terminal 1 – Muslim – located next to the Chapel.
  • Terminal 2 – Chapel – Departure Level North Wing, next to the Rotunda. Scheduled Masses: Monday-Friday 12.30, Saturday 16.30 and Sunday 8.30 and 17.00. Confessions can be made before or after mass or at request.
  • Terminal 2 – Muslim – On the ground floor in the public area of the South Wing.
  • Terminal 3 – Chapel – Mezzanine Level of the North Head House. Scheduled Masses: Monday- Friday 12.00 (noon), Saturday 17.00 and Sunday 8.00 and 16.30.
  • Terminal 3 – Muslim – Departures area, Third floor.

Information desks for information about the airport can be found in all terminals.

Luggage storage

There are luggage storage facilities for both small and large luggage located in Terminal 3. The fee for small luggage is 150 PHP for the first 3 hours or 300 PHP per day. For large luggage the fee is 200 PHP for the first 3 hours or 350 PHP per day.

Luggage trolleys and porters

Luggage trolleys are available in most areas of the airport, although not in the baggage claim areas for security reasons. Ask any MIAA personnel for directions or use a MIAA official porter service for the small fee of $ 1.00. You recognise the porters by the Porter marking on their uniforms.

Airport hotels or lodging

There are two separate options for relaxing or staying overnight during a transit or before a departure.

Passengers Lodging Facility – Terminal 1 – a sleeping facility located on the 4th Level of the West Departure Concourse. Rates start at 1,680 PHP for 24 hours.

Wings Transit Lounge – Terminal 3 – a 24 hour capsule hotel also equipped with showers, a spa and a massage area. Rates are between 900 and 3,200 PHP. Only cash accepted.

Transfers to and from Manila Airport

Rental carcar rental companies at Manila Airport are located in Terminals 1-3.

Bus – City bus lines service the airport, but are mostly used by locals and not recommended if travelling with large luggage. City bus route 2 can take you to the closest LRT station Baclaran in 10 minutes.

Shuttle

There is a shuttle bus service that services Metro Manila hotels.

Taxi

Three different taxi options are available at Manila Airport; Coupon Taxi has a set fare depending on where you are going, you obtain a coupon from the dispatch counter in the terminal which you hand over to the driver at the time of arrival at your destination. Regular taxis are the cheapest. If you choose the Yellow-metered taxi please be advised that the driver is to start the meter as you enter the vehicle otherwise leave and choose a different taxi.

Train

The LRT, Light Rail Transit System, does not have a stop at the airport, but there is one only 10 away easily reached through taxi, City bus route 2 or even a Jeepney.

Jeepney

Mostly used by locals and not recommended for travelers with large luggage. They service the cities of Pasay and Parañque.
